What We Believe
Godhead - We believe in the one and only true and living God, and that there is a trinity of persons in the Godhead - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - and yet they are not three, but one.
What We Believe
Scripture - We believe the scripture of the old and new testaments are the inspired Word of God and the only rule of faith and practice.
Fall of Man - We believe in the fall of Adam and the imparting of sin to his posterity, the corruption of human nature, and the impotency of man to recover himself by his own freewill ability.
Justification - We believe sinners are justified in the sight of God only by the righteousness of Christ imparted to them.
Covenant of Grace - We believe in the everlasting love of God to his people and the eternal election of an infinite number of the human race to grace and glory. A covenant of grace or redemption was made between the Father and Son before the world began, in which salvation of the elect is secure.
Sanctification - We believe the Spirit and power of God will call, regenerate, sanctify, and support those who were chosen in Christ so that they shall preserve in grace, and none of these shall be lost.
Good works - We believe good works are the fruits of faith that follow justification as evidence of salvation.
Resurrection - We believe in a resurrection of the dead and a general judgment. The happiness of the righteous and the punishment of the wicked will be everlasting.
